There are a few ways to get to Little Swinton Farm Cottages. Traveling from the North take the A68 from Edinburgh/Dalkeith as far as Carfraemill and then take the A697 to Coldstream. If you are traveling from the South I would suggest following the A1 all the way to Morpeth and then take the A697 to Coldstream. From Coldstream take Guards Road to Swinton Mill which is on the map. Turn right at Swinton Mill Crossroads and watch for a white signpost saying Little Swinton & Kersfield at a corner on the right. That's the road you want and you will see the cottages on your left as you crest the first hill. Enjoy your stay.
